STUDIO KOSLA is an architecture and interior practice designing thoughtful, enduring homes shaped by the people who live in them.

Much of the studio’s work focuses on existing houses with history and character. These homes already hold layers of memory and identity. Rather than erase that story, the practice looks for ways to continue it. Each project carefully introduces a new layer that reflects the lives, values, and personality of the current owners while respecting the spirit of the home that already exists.

Clients work directly with Registered Architect Kristin Koslowski from the first conversation through to construction. With over 15 years of experience across Sydney and New York, Kristin leads every project personally and takes responsibility for the design vision, key decisions, and delivery.

Kristin is known for clear judgement and direct communication. She speaks plainly when decisions are difficult, challenges assumptions when needed, and helps clients navigate complexity with confidence.

Her work sits at the intersection of design thinking and delivery. Projects are grounded in careful planning and refined material choices, with spaces shaped by light, texture, and longevity. Family life, sustainability, and durability are treated as fundamentals rather than aspirations.

Kristin is a Registered Architect, a Registered Design Building Practitioner for all scales of Class 2 Developments, and a member of the Australian Institute of Architects.
